Waagschale

SCREW THE SCALE || I figured it was time for a friendly, yet firm reminder.???? YOU GUYS. PLEASEEEEEE STOP GETTING HUNG UP ON THE NUMBER ON THE STUPUD SCALE! PLEASE STOP THINKING YOUR WEIGHT EQUALS YOUR PROGRESS AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING PLEASE STOP LETTING YOR WEIGHT HAVE ANY AFFECT WHATSOEVER ON YOUR SELF ESTEEM, like I used to. To any of you who are where I once was, please listen to me. I am 5' 7" and weigh 140 lbs. When I first started #bbg I was 8 weeks post partum and 145 lbs. I weighed 130 before getting pregnant, so based on nothing besides my own warped perception, I decided my "goal weight" should be 122 and to fit into my skinniest jeans. Well after a few months of BBG and breastfeeding, I HIT IT and I fit into those size 0 jeans. Well guess what? I HAVE GAINED 18 POUNDS SINCE THEN. EIGHT FREAKING TEEN. Also, I have gone up two pant sizes and as a matter of fact I ripped those skinny jeans wide open just the other week trying to pull them up over my knees.???? My point?? According to my old self and flawed standards, I would be failing miserably. THANK GOODNESS I finally learned to start measuring my progress by things that matter -- strength, ability, endurance, health, and HAPPINESS. Take progress photos and videos. Record how many push-ups you can do, ect. And if you can, your BFP -- there is only a 5 lb difference between my starting and current weight, but my body composition has changed COMPLETELY. I have never had more muscle and less body fat than I do now. I have never been healthier than I am now. I have never been more comfortable in my own skin than I am now. And if I didn't say #screwthescale long ago, I would have gave up on my journey. So to the little teeny tiny voice in the back of my head that still said "????wtf is this- not 140!?????????" last week when I stepped on the scale, I say SCREW. YOU. And I think you should probably say the same to your scale too. #byefelicia ????????????⚖ . . #bbgprogress #transformationtuesday #fit #fitness #workout #fitmom #fitchick #fitfam #fitnesstransformation #beforeandafter #sweat #mysweatlife #girlswithmuscle #girlgains #strongnotskinny

ITS MONDAY CAN I GET A HALLELUJAH!? And no that's not sarcasm.???? I mean am I the only one who doesn't hate Mondays!? Sure, they have their obvious down sides BUT let us take a look at the positives, shall we? 1. Monday is basically the easiest day to eat healthy. (ESP when you cheat-mealed so hard over the weekend you're actually CRAVING green things and grilled chicken.) 2. Monday follows my rest day which means HOLY CRAP I AM ITCHING TO GET TO THE GYM LIKE NO OTHER! I personally feel Monday's breed some of my absolute best workouts for this reason. Resting is great but after a day off I'm (borderline anxiety) mentally ready to SMASH IT.???????? 3. FRESH START KIDS!! Monday is the start of a new week. New week - new goals - new opportunities - new memories - new chance to do your best. Didn't work out last week? Didn't eat clean? WHO CARES!! Beating yourself up over the past won't change it, so get over it, get up, and get at it! ESP negative self talk- ain't nobody got time for that. Let last week go and step into this Monday like the bombshell you are. Annnnnd last but not least on my list of why Monday is BAE of the weekdays- 4. Bachelor.???? No shame.???????? || Now #getoutandsweat and go SLAYY YOUR MONDAY! . . . . . #happymonday #bbgcommunity #bbgsisters #bbgbabes #bbggirls #bbgmums #bbgmoms #bbg #fit #fitness #fitspo #fitnessmotivation #motivationmonday #workout #girlswithmuscle #happy #healthy #sweat

So I just pulled into the gym and Anderson is of course dead asleep in the car because he of course refused to nap today.???? Hence I get to chill and mentally prepare to smash some #BBG #arms when he awakes.???????????????????? || It's no secret I hate arm day.. (thanks @kayla_itsines for calling me out at the NYC #sweattour2016 ????????) but ya know what? I DO IT ANYWAY. Because even though I hate training arms, I love seeing progress. When I began BBG my arms and shoulders were by far my weakest, and though I still don't enjoy my arms circuits, at least I can do them! Sure, my progress has been slow and steady but for me this has never been about getting quickly "shredded" or "making gains". (Nothing wrong with that of course!????) But my point is I needed a program that fit my busy lifestyle and didn't consume it. I needed something flexible and do-able year round. Something I could stick to that brought maintainable results. That is what BBG is and that is how these baby muscles have been grown. And THAT is what I love. I love the feeling I get at the end of my workout knowing that I DID IT. Little by little, one circuit, one workout at a time. THAT'S HOW WE DO IT. ???????????????? . . . . . #bbgbabes #bbgcommunity #bbggirls #bbgfam #bbgmoms #bbgmums #bbgsisters #bbglife #fitmom #fitness #fitfam #fit #workout #fitspo #fitchick #mysweatlife #sweat #girlswithmuscles #girlgains
